Circular dining table with matching curved cabinets

This project began with a circular dining table, made and designed to order, to fit perfectly into the client’s dining room. The brief was to create a classically designed table with unique subtle detailing. This was achieved by the table’s edge details and the use of Rippled Sycamore on the circular ingot on the table’s pedestal. The creative process developed further and the clients became inspired by the design and decided it would be really nice to incorporate two curved matching cabinets into the room also to set the table off.

The cabinets had radially slip matched curved tops, with a Sycamore banding to match the dining room table. The cabinet doors had walnut starburst inlays to complement the table and the same Sycamore detailing was used to match the tables pedestal ingot and beading throughout. There were cutlery drawers, compartmentalized and lined in suede in each cabinet behind the curved doors, with adjustable shelves below for wine and spirits.

The clients have since enjoyed several dinner parties in this room where there guests have appreciated and commented on the fabulous pieces which have since led to referrals.
