Master bedroom suite with sliding door wardrobes and a hidden secret dressing /bathroom area.

This project developed from the client commissioning a dining room suite. They were so thrilled with there furniture and its quality we began to discuss there ideas for the bedroom. The brief was very exciting and unique; it was to design a bedroom with the bed in the middle of the room with wardrobes either side and a hidden dressing/bathroom area accessed from the bedroom. I had never designed a bedroom with the bed in the middle of the room and attention to the electrical items which had to be housed under the floor and bed were very carefully discussed and planned with the team involved. The clients were hands on and it was a very enjoyable process as they had so many creative ideas which inspired me and we formed an extremely good working relationship throughout the process. The end result exceeded all of our initial expectations; the room was unique and looked like a run of fitted wardrobes until you slid the middle door which revealed the secret dressing/bathroom area. The doors and main part of the king size bed were crafted from Zebrano, with cross banded Walnut and Sycamore detailing. The clients were over the moon with the end results and it was an extremely rewarding project and journey for everyone involved. I started the project working with two lovely clients for the second time and finished it with two very good friends.
